Summer is here, and what better way to beat the heat than to take a dip in a pool? Recently, we decided to explore our local area and discovered a small local pool near our house in the town of Opaka, Bulgaria.

The pool was located in a quiet residential area in Opaka and was the perfect spot to relax and unwind away from the tourist traps. It has a holiday feel to the place so tourists will feel at home as much as the locals do. The pool itself was small but clean and well-maintained. There is a swim up pool bar with all sorts of drinks available at local prices rather than the expensive prices you will find at the major Bulgarian resorts such as Sunny Beach or Golden Sands. It had a shallow area for kids to play too. It was not busy with plenty of sun loungers and tables available at the on-site restaurant and hotel. The surrounding area was landscaped with beautiful flowers and trees. The pool was surrounded by a fence, making it a secure and safe place for children to swim.

We spent the day lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun and enjoying the refreshing water. It was a great way to escape the heat and spend some quality time with our family. The best part was that it was only a few minutes away from our house, making it easy to visit again in the future. We highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a local pool to cool off in and enjoy the summer. If you live near Opaka, Bulgaria, this is definitely worth a visit!
