Not far from our home is Bulgaria’s medieval capital, Veliko Tarnovo. We often visit as its so close to us by car and a great way to spend a day out. We head out on a Saturday morning and first grab some lunch at a local restaurant. Then its off to see the beautiful sites and later some shopping before returning home.
